Changzhou Three Heroes：瞿秋白、张太雷、恽代英

The early leaders of the CPC Qu Qiubai, Zhang Tailei and Yun Daiying.

Qu Qiubai

Qu Qiubai was a pioneer in the dissemination of Marxist theory. During his tenure as the head of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, he systematically introduced the experience of the Soviet Revolution and left behind a theoretical work of 5 million words.

Zhang Tailei

Zhang Tailei, as the first representative of the Communist Party of China stationed in the Comintern, participated in the establishment of the Communist Youth League of China and led the Guangzhou Uprising.

Yun Daiying

Yun Daiying founded the Liqun Book Society to cultivate young talents and put forward the famous proposition that “imperialism is a paper tiger”.

Historical influence

As of 2025, the Changzhou Three Heroes Memorial Hall has received over one million visitors, and the exhibition of their life stories has toured more than ten cities across the country.
